Imposing antique ship's chandlers cupboard. Constructed of heavy pine with heavy iron strap work hinges and lock hasps it retains its original brown paint finish (apart from the cornice which has been replaced with period mouldings). Interior shelving is widely spaced but could easily be added to in oder to increase storage capacity. Standing some 8ft 2in tall and 50 inches wide at the base the top is 20 inches deep and the base 27 inches. A monumental, naturally distressed, piece that would add character to a variety of larger locations as well as providing commodious storage. The base and top are separate entities for ease of transportation but are pretty weighty!
